Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is set to miss out of the clash between him and his National teammate William Troost-Ekong in the Serie A on Sunday due to injury.
The on-loan Chelsea full-back sustained a muscular injury in their last game against Spal before the international break and could not make to the super eagles game against Seychelles.
Aina has made three appearances for Torino, and according to reports from Turin, the defender will still undergo a test to see if he will be able to make it on the Sunday’s game against Udinese in the Serie A.
Meanwhile, Ekong who also missed the AFCON qualifier last weekend had a separate training from the rest of the Udinese teammates hoping to see if he will be fit for the weekend’s game.
“William Troost-Ekong and Antonin Barak returned to Udine to continue the rehabilitation path to recover from their injuries,” a statement on Udinese’s official website revealed on Tuesday…
The 25-year-old Nigerian defender has made two appearances for the Udinese since he joined the club in the summer.
