Ola Aina’s scores first Torino goal in home win over Udinese

Super Eagles’ wing-back, Ola Aina was the hero for Torino as he scored the match winner at home to Udinese.

The Chelsea loanee featured for the 20th time this season in the league and did not disappoint as he scored his first professional league goal in the process.
After a cagey first opening minute, the hosts took the lead on the half-hour mark when Aina jumped highest to head home Cristian Ansaldi’s cross to give Torino a deserved lead going into the half time break.
The visitors were then awarded a golden opportunity to draw level but Rodrigo De Paul saw his effort saved by the goalkeeper as Torino held on to claim all three points.
Aina was withdrawn in stoppage time to a standing ovation and he had a game rating of 7.7, completed 82% of his passes, won 7 duels and also made 4 clearances and 3 interceptions.
The win lifts Torino to 8th on the log with 34 points from 23 games, whilst Udinese remains 16th, two points off the drop zone.
