Taiwo Awoniyi’s performances have caught the attention of former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.

Oliseh praised Awoniyi’s consistent goal-scoring and offensive runs which has contributed to the club’s recent run of results.

The forward was on target as Nottingham Forest defeat Sheffield United 2-1 for their first win of the season.​

He also scored his side’s first goal of the season at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.

Oliseh took to his social media account to heap praises on the forward for his consistency in front of goal.

“I am very impressed by the quality of Offensive Runs Taiwo Awoniyi makes for Nottingham Forest not to talk of the quality Goal he scored. Bravo Taiye” Oliseh posted on Twitter.

Awoniyi has scored in his last six Premier League game for the Reds dated back to last season.
