Onyedika gets debut Super Eagles call up

Head Coach José Santos Peseiro has named his 25-man squad for the international friendly game against Algeria later this month.

Peseiro handed midfielder Raphael Onyedika maiden call up, while Taiwo Awoniyi, Maduka Okoye, Kevin Akpoguma and Wilfred Ndidi made a return to the squad.

France based duo of Moffi and Moses Simon along with 19 others that featured in the last AFCON qualifying games kept their place in the squad.

Three–time African champions Nigeria and two-time African champions Algeria clash at the 40,000 Stade Olympique in Oran on Tuesday, 27th September.

The invited players expected to confluence in the city of Constantine on Monday, 19th September.
