Nigerian international Desire Oparanozie was on target for her new club Dijon in their pre-season win over Standard Liege on Sunday.
The Nigerian international scored both goals for the club to hand them a morale booster win ahead of the 2020-2021 French women football league..
Dijon dominated the game and took the lead after Oparanozie found the back of the net in the 23rd minute after beating an opposing defender to fire beyond the visitors’ goalkeeper.
She doubled her team’s advantage on the stroke her time when she beat the goalkeeper from near post after been through on goal.
The former Super Falcons captain lasted for 84 minutes before being replaced by Ines Barrier.
The 26-year-old who made her debut in Dijon’s 2-1 friendly win over Swiss outfit Servette Chenois has now played three preseason games for her club since her arrival.
Oparanozie will hope to continue her good form when Dijon lock horns on with Reims on Sunday.
