Nigeria’s women national team striker Asisat Oshoala has stated that the Super Falcons have a real chance of qualification from here now after the team’s 2-0 win over South Korea in the team’s second group stage game against South Korea.
Oshoala speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net shortly after the game said the Nigerian ladies now fancy their chance and that she believes in the team’s ability to achieve this together and stressed not been under any form of pressure because it’s all about the team and not about any individual.
“The group is open and what we have to concentrate on as a team is to concentrate on how we can get our points against France. That’s all I care about. I follow the game plan with the team.
It’s an 11 players game not lone player sports. So it’s not about me, it’s about the team. I can’t start putting myself under pressure and then starts tampering with other players responsibilities.”
