Midfielder Deborah Abiodun is confident Nigeria will qualify for the final round of Olympic qualifiers ahead of rivals Cameroon.

The Nigeria WNT faced a tough challenge against Cameroon, resulting in a goalless result in the first leg held in Douala, on Friday.

Abiodun, who was on the pitch throughout the match, believes in the team’s ability to advance to the final qualifying round.

“Big thanks to all our incredible fans for their support last night against Cameroon,” She stated.

“The job isn’t done yet, but we’re staying committed to the journey.”

She also addressed fans: “Your continued support means everything, and we’ll give it our all in the upcoming game in Abuja.”
