Playing Rivers United is a difficult task – Osho

Enyimba International of Aba Head Coach Fatai Osho says his side’s Sunday Confederation Cup playoff second leg against Rivers United, Fatai Osho won’t be an easy game.

The People’s Elephant takes a 1-0 first leg advantage into the fixture against Rivers United who themselves are yet to drop points at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium this season.

With a qualification to the lucrative group stage of the competition at stake, Osho believes his side must realize how difficult the game is and stand up to be counted.

“It is not going to be an easy task, we’re quite aware of that. Looking at the quality of our opponents and looking at what happened in the first leg, none of the teams will be so sure of getting the ticket because the two teams looked equally matched.

“We have to be honest with ourselves, coming in here, it won’t be an easy task but we want to be optimistic that we’ll scale this hurdle.”

Osho also admitted that Enyimba has relied heavily on the creativity of star forward, Anayo Iwuala this season and he expected the petit forward to continue with his good form in the game.

“He knows there could be attention drafted on him. He is a good player and he is doing very well right now and what he is experiencing is what all top-class players do experience,” he told the club’s media.

The match is scheduled for 4 pm at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt Rivers State.
