Super Eagles captain and Sivasspor winger, Ahmed Musa, has reacted to the earthquake that hit Turkey on Monday.
The high-magnitude tremor struck at 4.17am local time on Monday in south Eastern Turkey near the Syrian border, according to the US Geological Survey.
More than 3,400 people have lost their lives in the disaster, with a further 6,000 injured, according to officials.
Reports says Turkish and Yeni Malatyaapor goalkeeper Etup Turkaslan is among the unlucky people, while Ghananians winger Christian Atsu is also trapped in rubbles, although unconfirmed reports circulating internet claimed he has been found.
Reacting to the news, Musa posted on his Twitter handle, “Pray for Turkey.” The tweet was accompanied with a heartbroken emoji.
Musa is currently on the payroll of Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor, the club he joined from Fatih Karagumruk.
He has made 44 league appearances in the Turkish topflight division playing since he arrived Turkey from Kano Pillars in 2021.
