Newcastle United Manager, Rafa Benitez has reportedly invited the son of former Magpies defender, Celestine Babayaro to the club’s academy.
After receiving Ryan Hyacinth, Benitez said he hoped the bemusing dribbler becomes “the new Messi.”
Ryan’s father, Celestine Babayaro, played for Newcastle between 2008 and 2008 after spending eight seasons at Chelsea.
The former Nigeria International’s son, Ryan, impressed the Spaniard during a Newcastle United Foundation 1892 Cup on Tuesday.

“The idea is to keep the connection between the club and the community, it would be fantastic if the club did produce a player on the back of one of the Foundation’s courses.
“It’s not the main idea but at the same time you come across one talent nobody knew about. And then, maybe, he will be the new Messi,” Benitez said.
