Rafiu Durosinmi says he’s happy to join Czech Republic giants Viktoria Plzen.
The 20 year-old on Monday joined on loan from MKF Karvina with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The striker who is valued at €20m was also linked with Slavia Prague as replacement for Yira Sor, who joined KRC Genk.
“I am happy that I got such a chance. I watched Victoria’s matches in the Champions League, it’s a really big team and I have to do my best to get ahead,” He said during his unveiling ceremony.
Durosinmi, who will fly to Spain with the club for training on Wednesday, is a boost to Plzen attacking department as the club is struggling with a series of injuries.
Jan Kliment and Mateo Vydra are currently struggling with injury, while Fortune Bassey hasn’t live up to expectations since his loan move from Ferencváros.
