Centre-back Valentine Ozornwafor made his official debut for Sochaux against FC Paris on Monday.
The 23 year-old who joined the club on loan from Galatasaray played the entire duration of Sochaux’s opening Ligue 2 match against FC Paris.
Ozornwafor partnered Moroccan defender Saad Agouzoul in central defense and both did excellently well, keeping the visitors’ at bay.
Sochaux however could not break down the visitors neither, despite finishing the game with nine players.
The visitors, were reduced to ten in the first period and then to nine in the final minutes, but managed to keep their clean sheet.
Ozornwafor and his mates will be aiming for his their first win of the season when they travel to Grenoble on Saturday.
