The journey to Cardiff is over and Real Madrid have finally sailed through after a nervy loss to Atletico Madrid on a cold rainy night at the Vincente Calderon.
It was a nightmare start versus Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semifinal second leg on Wednesday. Two goals from Saul and Greizmann in the first 20 minutes was enough to cast doubts over Real’s ability to progress.
Yet Real Madrid kept calm and it needed just one goal to force Atletico to score five, and it got it on a wild, brilliant play from Isco Alarcon.
