Rivers set to end Pillars’ cherished unbeaten record – Aguda

Rivers united forward Godwin Aguda has stated that the Port Harcourt-based side will be out on Wednesday( today) to break Kano Pillars’ cherished unbeaten record of 10 games when both teams clash in Port Harcourt in one of the NPFL Matchday 26 fixtures.

Aguda speaking in a chat with brila.net acknowledged the enormity of the task before the Pride of Rivers against the current league leaders Kano Pillars but stressed that the coach Stanley Eguma tutored side are also motivated to extend what has been an unbeaten run for themselves too in the last seven matches to eight with a win against the Ibrahim Musa led Kano Pillars team.
“It will not be possible, it’s going to be a very tough game because they are a good side, you can’t take that away from them because they are a good side. But for us too we are five games unbeaten so the game is very crucial and the three points important for us. So we are going all out to make sure that we break that unbeaten record that they have.”
