Nigeria will seek to make a third successive Summer Olympics appearance in rowing, at the games in Tokyo next year.
Efforts are currently ongoing at the Federation level to ensure Nigeria’s brightest prospects within and outside the country are sponsored to qualifying tournaments this year.
Meanwhile, the Rowing, Canoeing and Sailing Federation is also determined to present Nigeria’s first rowers at next year’s Paralympics.
In a chat with brila.net at a recent national event, President of the Federation Real Admiral Festus Porbeni (rtd.) explained that Nigeria’s Olympic and Paralympic games appearances in the Sport were a crucial objective.
