Salisu Yusuf already has 21 names penned for the 2018 African Nations Championship and there are only two spots left to be filled according to Team media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
The Eagles Coach is fixing up all the loose ends in the team – pushing the players in a test of stamina, Speed, ball passing and more in camp.
Ibitoye disclosed to Babafemi Raji on Brila FM’s show Football Live on Saturday that the Coach has used the three practice matches played so far in Abuja to improve some aspects of the team.
‘The Coach told me that he already has a good idea of the players that will be in the plane to Morocco.
‘There are two spots left he hinted but surely the decision must have been tough because you can see how determined and incredible the players have been these past weeks in camp.
‘We have played practice matches and Today they won against Capital City by 4-1.
‘That game obviously has given him insights into areas of strength and also weakness that the team can improve on.’
30 players are still in the Abuja camp of the CHAN Eagles and Yusuf is expected to name his final 23-man list on 2 January or the mandatory date of January 3rd.
