Salisu Yusuf is confident the Dream Team will deliver a good show against Guinea, when they clash in the first leg, of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round, in Abuja later today.

The gaffer insists, the team is well prepared for the match, and their aim is to record a good result, that’ll put them in a strong position for the second leg.

“I won’t disappoint Nigerians.” he coach said.

“I am satisfied that we have been able to work hard these past days and are now set for action.”

“The players know that reaching the Africa Cup of Nations presents them a tremendous opportunity to fight hard for a ticket to the Olympics, which is a global tournament.

Salisu Yusuf was criticized by the media over his choice of players for the game, but the former Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers coach, says he invited the best.

“We have invited a number of players from overseas that we believe can help us stake a very strong claim to the ticket, and we will be aiming for a good win on Wednesday.

“The second leg is on neutral ground, but we don’t want to entertain that in our minds. We have the objective of working assiduously to wrap up things in this first leg.”

The return leg will hold at the Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan, in Morocco on March 28.
