Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu made his return for Girondins Bordeaux in a 0-0 away draw to Metz on Wednesday.
Kalu has struggled with reoccurring injury which has limited his involvement for the former French champions this season.
The 23 year-old Attacker has featured in only eight league matches played by Les Girondins this campaign, owing to injuries.
Kalu took the place of French forward Remi Oudin in the 71st minute, but couldn’t impact the game as the sides shared the spoils.
Meanwhile, striker Josh Maja was also involved in the game for Bordeaux, but failed to add to his goal tally this season.
Maja has scored twice in the league and made 16 appearances. He was replaced in the 71st minute by Jimmy Briand.
