Samuel Stone makes u-turn on leaving Jigawa Golden Stars

Star forward Samuel Stone has decided to stay put at Jigawa Golden Stars for the rest of the campaign.

Stone is said to be interested in a transfer from the relegation-threatened club in the current transfer but has now put the plan on hold, at least to the end of the season.

The attacker is Jigawa Golden Stars top scorer with five goals in the league this season and the club believes he’s vital to their aims of retaining their premier league status.

Jigawa Golden Stars are just four points above the relegation zone at the end of the first stanza of the season.

The club will be banking on the forward to get them the important goals in the second half of the campaign.
