Shehu Abdullahi scores first ever Bursaspor goal with a ’buzzing’ header

Super Eagles right-back Shehu Abdullahi scores his first goal for Bursaspor in the 3-2 over Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday afternoon at the Bursa Büyüksehir Belediyesi Stadium.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined for more than three months after suffering a thigh muscle rupture while playing for Nigeria in the 4-0 win over in the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on October 13.

Abdullahi returned to action last month but open his goals account after he equalizes with thump header for Bursaspor in the 19th minutes with Emre Kilinc has taken the lead for Sivasspor.

Henri Saivet put the home side in front for the first time in the encounter in the second half as Delvin N’Dinga level it up for the visiting in the 89 minutes but Green Crocodiles have the last laugh on the tie after Aytac Kara seal the victory one minute later.

The win sees Bursaspor moves to 14 places in the Turkish Super Lig with 27 points but Abdullahi made three appearances this term win one goal.
