Former Nigeria international Sam Sodje has stated what the basic goals for Nigerian players should be in the new year 2021 as individuals continue to make resolutions and targets for the new year in their private and professional career.
Sodje speaking in a chat with www.brila.net called on aspiring Nigerian players to targets doing well at club level as part of their new year resolutions which ultimately will help their careers with the right recognition coming from other clubs and national team.
He also charged established national team players to also be filled with hunger to do more so as to also continue to attracts interest from all quarters.
“From a player point of view it’s more about wishing to play well for your Football club so that the national team will call you, so the desire will be having a good year where they will play so well for the national team and also for the club.”
