Super Eagles secured a 2-0 victory over Wild Beasts of Central African Republic in their match day four of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Gernot Rohr tutored side outplayed their hosts and successfully avenged their embarrassing defeat they suffered in Lagos last Thursday.

Rohr made some changes to the team that lost in Lagos, with Maduka Okoye, Chidozie Awaziem and Ahmed Musa starting the game, while Francis Uzoho, Ola Aina and were dropped to the bench.

After few exchange, Super Eagles went in front on the 16 minutes, thanks to a ferocious striker From Glasgow Rangers defender Leon Balogun.

The Super Eagles increased the lead on the stroke of half time with star striker Victor Osimhen netting off William Troost-Ekong’s assist.

The Super Eagles couldn’t add to their tally in the second half of the game, but they saw the results over the line.

Rohr’s boys will take on Liberia in the next game in Monrovia next month.
