Turkish Super League side Alanyaspor have a struck a deal with Serie A club Chievo Verona for the services of Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi.
Italian transfer expert Di Marzio is reporting that the 28-year-old is on his way to Turkey and the deal is likely to be completed before Thursday’s deadline.
Obi has been pushing for a move away from Chievo after being restricted to just 11 appearances this season.
He joined Chievo on a 3-year contract in 2018 but after just six months at the club, the Nigerian is pushing for a move away from the club.
Obi will be following the path of fellow Nigerian Victor Moses who moved to Turkey earlier this month.
Obi featured for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup held in Russia.
