Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s Men basketball national team Mohammed Abdulrahman has stated that the Nigeria men basketball national though talented struggled because of lack of cohesion after losing all three games played in Tokyo.
Abdulrahman speaking in a chat with brila.net stresses that while the composition of the players in the Nigerian roster is good and encouraging, it was clear the team hadn’t played as much games together like their counterpart at the games which eventually paid off for the opposition teams who had better cohesion.
The Mike Brown led side lost all three games played at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics despite promising results during exhibition.
