Tamara Ezekiel has call on his Kano Pillars teammates to put their defeat against MFM behind quickly.
Ezekiel in chat with brila.net says the team can’t afford to dwell on the painful defeat for so long, because they have difficult matches ahead.
The Sai Masu Gida were unlucky not to pick a point against Olukoya Boys at Soccer Temple on Wednesday in Agege.
Kano were awarded two penalties in the game, but skipper Rabiu Ali missed the first kick, before converting the second.
The game ended 2-1 in the favor of the home and the result left them four points adrift leaders Akwa United with eight matches to go.
“The defeat was painful, because we almost picked a point, but then, we have to move because we don’t have time to dwell on it.”
“We have Lobi Stars coming on Sunday, they are difficult opponents as well, so we have to be ready to fight for three the points.”

Tamara Ezekiel joined Kano Pillars from Lobi Stars this season and could be in the team to face his former side on Sunday.
On the prospect of facing his former club, he said:” I have very good memories of the team, they gave opportunity to show my skills in the league and I’m grateful for that”.
“I still have friends at the club, but all that won’t matter during the game, because Kano Pillars is my priority now and I have to do everything to help my club to win.”
