Brila.net can report exclusively report that Katsina United striker Tasiu Lawal has signed for Niger Tornadoes for the second time in his career.

Niger Tornadoes has struggled in front of goal in what looks a difficult season and the new manager Hamza Abarah feels there’s a need to bring in a striker if the Club will survive the drop at the end of the of the season.

Lawal’s return to Ikoh Allah will boost the Club attack with the trio of Tank Awwal, Eric Frimpong and Udeh Clement still in the rank of Tornadoes.

Lawal played for Niger Tornadoes two seasons ago before he joined Katsina United.

“Tasiu played for us two seasons ago and he understands the terrain. He also played very well at Katsina. We have spoken to him and he has agreed to come back to the team.

He is going to be a good inclusion in the team because we want to ensure that we do everything tangible to improve our position on the log, and the best way to go about it is to strengthen the team with quality players,” a source revealed last week.
