Striker Terem Moffi scored twice to earn a point for FC Lorient against Monaco in the Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday.

Moffi took his goal tally for the season to nine in all competitions, with eight of them coming in the league.

The youngster opened scoring after seven minutes from the penalty spot in the 7th minute, but Wissam Ben Yedder restored parity for Monaco three minutes into the second half.

Moffi completed his brace in the 62nd minute following a perfect pass from his strike partner Thomas Monconduit.

The Nigerian and his teammates were few minutes away from securing a famous away victory, but Benoit Badiashile set up Wissam Ben Yedder for a 90th minute equaliser.

Lorient remain in 17th place with 23 points from 24 matches, four points above the drop zone, while Monaco remain in fourth place with 49 points.
