Emmanuel Amuneke is unhappy with how Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi Stars handled the sacking of Coach Eddy Dombraye.
Lobi Stars through their social media handle on Sunday announced the dismissal of former Super Eagles player, after home defeat to Abia Warriors.
Lobi Stars have struggled to make an impact this season and the management of the team decided to fire Dombraye-led technical crew, after failing to pick a win from last four matches.
” Our job is about hiring and firing. Anyone into coaching must be psychological ready.” Amuneke told brila.net
” Unfortunately in Nigeria we are not patient, they want quick results, but you can’t get quick results, because there are process . The coaches in question, needs enabling environment to excel .”
“But we know all the environment , so we can’t shy away from the reality. Any coach coming in ,know what he’s getting himself to .”
“There is no shame in getting sacked or losing your job, because Sacking is part of the job and that’s how you grow”.
And reacting to, Eddy Dombraye’s clamied that he hasn’t received any official notification from the management of Lobi Stars regarding his dismissal, Amuneke insisted said it wasn’t the right thing to go.

“For the Club , if they decide to sack him, I think the right thing is to communicate with Eddy and not through Facebook.”
“Eddy knew what he was getting himself into, before he took the job.” Amuneke concluded.
