Trophee des Champions: Simon tamed as PSG trounce Nantes

Moses Simon was on the losing side as Nantes suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat in the French Super Cup clash against Paris Saint Germain.

The Nigerian forward started the clash for the Antoine Kombouaré’s men, but failed to influence the game.

He was anonymous on the pitch as Leo Messi and Neymar dominated the game for the league champions.

Messi got the opening goal in the 22nd minute after Neymar freed him with neat pass, which the Argentine took perfectly before rounding the goalkeeper and slotted the ball to an empty net.

Neymar then converted a stunning free-kick in the added minute of the first half to put PSG in perfect control.

Sergio Ramos and Neymar completed the rout for the Parisien in the second half.

Simon who played the entire minutes of the game would be hoping for a better outing when Nantes kick start their domestic campaign with a trip to Angers SCO next weekend.
