U23 AFCON: Dream Team to camp in Ibadan for Tanzania clash

Nigeria U23 National football team will began preparations for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Tanzania with the training camp in Ibadan.

Head coach Salisu Yusuf has invited 32 players that will compete for a places in the final squad for the game scheduled for later this month.

Tanzania will host the first-leg of the fixture in the weekend of October 21-23, with the return leg due in Nigeria on Saturday, October 29.

The second-leg will hold at Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, the home ground of Nigeria professional football league side Shooting Stars.

Nigeria will be aiming to secure a place in the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations which serves as the qualifiers for the Olympics.

Last time around, the Dream Team missed out of the Olympics in Tokyo last year, as the then Imama Amapakabo side failed to reach make it out of the U23 AFCON group stages in Egypt.
