Rivers United are on a rut, having suffered three successive league defeats, the latest coming in a home game against Wikki Tourist.
Head Coach of the side Stanley Eguma described Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to the visiting side as “hard to take”.
Eguma, who is the longest-serving Coach with a single club in the league, stressed that the result did not reflect his team’s performance on the day.
Meanwhile, the Coach also reaped into his attackers for being wasteful in front of goal.
‘It is hard to take especially when you’ve worked soo hard and you still lose at home; it is not a good thing, because it does not justify all the hard work you’ve put in.
‘But football is like this, sometimes you plan to win but it doesn’t go your way. We lost a lot of scoring chances yesterday if we had converted them the results would have been different.’
