Kamaru Usman says he’s determined to bounce back and reclaim his UFC Welterweight.
Usman lost his welterweight title at UFC 278, losing in the final minute to Leon Edwards who knocked him out.
The Briton connected a kick to the head of the Nigerian nightmare, which sent him to the mat for the first time in his career.
Usman led the fight by points, but Edwards rode his luck to defeat the champion.
Reacting to the defeat, Usman admitted he allowed the match to slip away from him, but promised to return to octagon and avenge his lose.
“Champsf$ckupsometimes…butwebouncebackandcomewithvengeance,” he posted on Twitter.
Champs f$ck up sometimes… but we bounce back and come with vengeance!! 👊🏿🌍🤴🏿 #NGHTMR
