Uzoho Joins another Cypriot Side AC Omonia Nicosia On A Loan Deal

Nigeria goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has secured a loan move toanother Cyprus club, AC Omonia Nicosia , his Spanish Club, Deportivo La Coruna has announced.

The deal to see Uzoho spend 2019/2020 with the Club was completed on Tuesday and he’s expected to be presented to the fans when he resume.

Uzoho spent last season on loan at Anothorsis Famagusta, but the whole of the period was clouded with controversies and lack of playing time.

“The Real Club Deportivo, Omonoia FC and Francis have reached an agreement for the Nigerian international goalkeeper of the Dépor milite this season 2019-2020 ceded in the Cypriot club.

 

The Real Club Deportivo wants to wish Francis a lot of luck in his new professional project,” the club said on Twitter.

Uzoho made his debut for Nigeria in November 2017 against Argentina and went on to be the first choice keeper going to the FIFA World Cup, but lack of playing time last season saw him dropped to third choice at the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
