Victor Boniface recovered from Thursday’s disappointing outing, that saw his side Union Saint-Gilloise exit the UEFA Europa League, to produce another impressive show against Kortrijk on Sunday.
Boniface provided the assist for Union St. Gilloise in their 2-1 defeat away to Kortrijk at Guldensporenstadion in the Belgium Pro League.
The 22-year-old had a great game, despite his side losing the dead rubber affair.
Following the assist, he has now increased his goal contribution to 13 ( seven goals with six assists) in 31 league appearances.
Boniface, who is wanted by several big teams in Europe, also has six goals in the Europa League before Union Saint-Gilloise’s elimination.
Union Saint-Gilloise finished the regular season in second place behind KRC Genk and will compete in title playoff.
