Pedro Rodriguez is back fit and training for Chelsea, which means the Spaniard could return to Europa action and the premier league at the expense of Victor Moses.
Moses returned to the Chelsea starting XI; during the Carabao Cup match against Liverpool, and also came on as a substitute in the Premier League match at Stamford Bridge, in the absence of the injured Pedro.
The Spaniard has been Maurizio Sarri’s preferred option on the right wing, along with Willian, while Moses falls to third in the pecking order.
In his pre-match presser ahead of Thursday’s Europa league match against MOL Vidi FC, the Italian said Pedro was available for selection, but he would have a word with the player.
Giving his match day squad update, Sarri said he had a full compliment of players available for selection, but will reach a decision on his XI and bench after the training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday Morning.
