Vincent Enyeama Not Considering Super Eagles Coaching Role

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has dismissed rumors of him venturing into football management any time soon, citing his current focus on personal business affairs.

Enyeama has been rumored to be in contention for a goalkeeper trainer role within the Super Eagles setup.

However, he clarified that his immediate priorities lie in attending to his hotel business and that he has not pursued coaching certification, a prerequisite for such roles.

Despite acknowledging his interest in contributing to football in different capacities, Enyeama stated that the importance of addressing his ongoing business commitments before considering any coaching opportunities.

He told Afrik-Foot: “For you to be able to coach the Super Eagles, you must be certified. That’s the minimum standard.

“That’s the number one reason, and then for the fact that I have been very busy developing and managing my hotel has taken a lot of my attention, and that business is the most important thing for me now.”

Vincent Enyeama is regarded as one Nigeria’s greatest goalkeepers of all time, following his exploits for the National team.

He Captained the team to 2013 Africa Cup of Nations success and played in three FIFA World cup.
