Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba lauds his team’s outstanding display as they triumph over Togo at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Championship.

The gaffer stated that the game is the best his side has played so far in the tournament.

Nigeria recorded a resounding 3-0 victory their neighbors Togo, in a thrilling encounter securing a spot in the semi-finals.

Abdulmuiz Adeleke emerged as the star of the match, netting two goals, while Rapha Adams added to the tally with a goal of his own.

The defending Champions started their campaign with a draw against Burkina Faso, followed by a narrow 1-0 win over Niger.

Garba expressed pride in his team’s performance against the Junior Hawks.

“It was a good game for us, it was not because we scored three goals but we played our best game so far,” Garba said after the game.

“We could even have scored more goals in that game as we dominated from start to finish.”

The Golden Eaglets will face Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-final on Saturday, with the winner advancing to next year’s Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
