Watford’s Premier League survival crucial for Emmanuel Dennis

Emmanuel Dennis will be hoping to add to his Premier League tally when relegation threatened Watford take on Manchester City today.

Dennis ended his goal drought in last week’s 2-1 defeat by Brentford and he’s hoping to build on the performance when the Hornets travel to Etihad.

He netted his 10th Premier League goal of the season for Watford last week and is also desperate to keep Watford in the top flight.

Watford are 19th on the log and have found themselves struggling for form when it matters most.

With Burnley and Everton both picking up positive results in midweek, any form of points at the Etihad Stadium would perhaps depend on how Dennis perform.

Recent poor results against the current Premier League leaders and defending champions established Watford as clear underdogs in the encounter, but with Dennis in form, the Hornets could spring a surprise.
