We must keep fighting! St. Mary’s Hero Awoniyi Charges Forest Teammates

Taiwo Awoniyi is excited with Nottingham Forest’s victory over Southampton, but insists the Reds must keep fighting to beat relegation.

Awoniyi scored the match winner for the Reds who pipped fellow relegation battlers Southampton at the St Mary on Wednesday.

In the 27th minute the Forward tapped in a low pass from Brennan Johnson, who had earlier rattled the crossbar from close range.

The goal arrived in the first-half and it gave Nottingham Forest their first away win in the Premier League this season and climb out of the relegation zone.

He tweeted after the game:

The former Liverpool forward is Nottingham Forest’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with four goals.
