Asisat Oshoala has shared her thoughts on Nigeria’s ambitions at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and declares her commitment to the team objectives in Morocco.
Oshoala, who is one of key players in Randy Waldrum’s squad to the tournament insists, is also one of the stars in the Tournament, but insists she’s not chasing personal glory.
“I don’t have a target, but my main goal is to help my team, either by scoring goals or defending and whatever that’ll help my team to win. I’m ready to do it,” the four-time African Player of the Year declared.
Nigeria begins its title defense against South Africa’s Banyana Banyana on Monday at the Moulay Hassan Stadium.
They’ll complete the group matches with games against Botswana (Thursday, 7th July) and Burundi (Sunday, 10th July).
