D’Tigers Assistant Coach, AbdulRahman Mohammed has charged the players to embrace the challenge of facing the likes of Australia and Canada in the group stage when the Men’s competition of the 2018 Commonwealth Games tips off.
Nigeria is housed in Pool A alongside host Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
D’Tigers are 32nd in the FIBA World ranking for men behind 10th and 23rd placed Australia and Canada.
New Zealand come in 38th position in the ranking but Coach AbdulRahman insists all the teams in the Pool offer Nigeria a great opportunity to also test their winning mentality.
The Coach told Brila.net that the Coaches have been working on the psyche of the players.
