Zaidu Sanusi wins Primeira Liga for FC Porto

Super Eagles Defender Zaidu Sanusi was the hero for FC Porto in the Primeira Liga Clasico win against SL Benfica, his goal also secured League title on Saturday.

Sanusi scored a stoppage time to seal a dramatic victory and FC Porto’s 30th Portuguese Primera Liga title.

The victory was Porto’s 28th from 33 league game and took their points tally to 88 – 6 more than second placed Sporting Lisbon defeated Portimonense 3-2 in a comeback win.

Porto will be able to crown their season with another trophy, when they face Tondela in the Portuguese Cup final on May 22.
