The Super Eagles have departed for Freetown as they look set to battle Sierra Leone in the return-leg of their Group L, 2021 AFCON qualifier on Tuesday.
It was reported that the team left Nigeria on Monday morning after their final training session on Sunday.
The team will be without striker Victor Osimhen, who left returned to his base following the shoulder injury he copped in the first-leg on Friday.
Gernot Rohr’s team will look to bounce back after surrendering a four-goal lead to draw 4-4 against the visitors in Benin City on Friday.
The three-time African champions lead Group L with seven points after three games while Sierra Leone are third on two points.
A win Nigeria will secure qualification for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
