Former Nigerian midfielder, Austin Okocha says Victor Boniface is a breath of fresh air in the Super Eagles.
Boniface made his national team debut against Sao Tome and Principe, assisting one of the goals in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. The Super Eagles won 6-0.
“He gives us hope. It shows we are not short of talent. We [Nigeria] just need to get our act together!

hit their prime yet.

The forward is also enjoying good run of form for his club Bayer Leverkusen since linking up with Die Werkself from Union St Gilloise this summer.
The 22-year-old has scored eight goals in seven games across all competitions for Xabi Alonso’s side.
