Grading does not matter in football, says Godwin Okpara

Former Super Eagles defender, Godwin Okpara has said that the grades of a particular country do not matter in football in this generation.

Okpara, speaking in a chat with brila.net stated that the friendly games the super eagles will be playing in the next months are good and it doesn’t matter if the countries are in the categories of  A, B, or C.
He added that there are no smaller countries in football given instances of the Benin Republic and Togo being a smaller country when it comes to football but these days, things have changed in football.
“Friendly match is a friendly match, are you grading it, even if you are playing the smallest country’s now, there is nothing like lowest countries in football.” He said.
The Super Eagles will be playing some friendlies in the coming months against the indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Mexican National team.
