On, March 12, 2017, something absolutely remarkable happened at the Stade Olympique de Rades (same venue where Rivers United will face Club African on Sunday.
Club African faced a Sierra Leonian club, Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) in the first leg of their first round CAF Confederation Cup tie
Ten goals were scored in that match and club African scored NINE.

One man scored FOUR goals that day for Club African. he is an Algerian.
He’s 27 years old and wears the number 35 Jersey for Club African.
His name is Ibrahim Chenihi.
He’s a full Algerian International and has already earned three caps playing with stellar talent like Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani

Darragi is the MOST experienced member of the Club Africain squad. He’s 30-years-old. He’s a full member of Tunisia’s national team (the Carthage Eagles) having earned 43 caps and scored 10 goals in the process. One of those goals he scored for Tunisia was against the SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA in a World Cup qualifier at the Abuja National Stadium on September 6, 2009.
Darragi is the heart and soul of Club African. Everything positive they do revolves around him. He’s the playmaker of the team.
Darragi has previously played for clubs like Esperance, Sion (Switzerland), Al Raed (Saudi Arabia) and CA Bizertin. Simply put, he’s a big game player
After Club Africain thrashed RSLAF 9-1 in the first round of the CAF Confed Cup two months ago, the Sierra Leonians became so frustrated and disillusioned that they withdrew from the competition. Yes! They decided not to play the second leg in Free Town!
Club Africain have scored 15 (FIFTEEN) goals in their three CCC games this season. That’s an average of FIVE GOALS per game!
