It is no secret that Jose Mourinho is placing little importance on the final game of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace.
The dead rubber at Old Trafford on Sunday is set to feature many of Manchester United’s fringe and youth players – with the Portuguese keeping in mind the bigger prize which may await the following week.
Mourinho has the Europa League final against Ajax firmly in his sights and has stated that he will blood the youngsters against mid-table Palace.
With nothing riding on the game, the United manager took Friday’s training session a little more laid back than usual – opting for a casual lie down in the dugout.
First team coach Silvino Louro even gestured towards the boss – not appearing particularly enthralled with his actions – as his side geared up for the clash at United’s AON training complex in Manchester.
Mourinho has reiterated the fact that it has been a long season for his players, but it appears to have also taken its toll on the manager.
