Abia Warriors striker Jimoh Oni has disclosed his desire to end as the league top scorers at the end of the season and has voiced his hope to see the league return to enable him achieve this objective at the end of the current campaign.
Oni speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the race for the league’s highest goalscorers is still very open because of the number of matches left to be played in the season and hopes he is able to make good use of it when the league return.
“It is not over until it is over. At least some players have scored hat trick three goals in a match and I can also do it and it can be my turn.
“There are still a lot of matches to play and there are still a lot of opportunities. I will meet up and contest for the highest goal scorer so I am having that hope and I am having a strong feeling that I will give a good fight before the end of this season.”
