Former Super Eagles and Kwara united goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba has revealed that staying together and been there for each other like he experienced years ago while in Enyimba is something he has continued to stress and has been working for the team as the team stays top of Nigeria Professional Football League with 19 games played already.
Aiyenugba speaking in a chat with brila.net revealed also that while the team has been laid back in stating her desire, it is clear at this point that the team want to keep pushing for the league title and be part of the history of winning the first league title for the club.
He however stressed that been top halfway is just indicative of what they can achieve but are actually not there yet.
“It has been great seriously I try to bring the old days when I was in Enyimba to Kwara united and this is what is happening in Kwara united. Our desire, our belief is to win the league for Kwara united for the first time and we are not there already despite been top.”
