Joe Aribo continues his exceptional form for Southampton, securing a crucial victory against Birmingham City in a thrilling match at St Andrews, on Saturday.

Aribo, 27, who recently returned from the 2023 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria, came off the bench to make a significant impact.

Initially starting as a substitute, the Nigerian entered the game with Southampton and Birmingham City deadlocked at 3-3.

Stepping in for William Smallbone, the former Charlton Athletics player emerged as the hero in added time, seizing an opportunity from a corner kick and guiding the ball into the net with his left foot.

This marked Aribo’s second goal for Southampton since his return from international duty.
